CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT
1.) We must be in possession of consignment items in order to properly sell equipment and to avoid misrepresentation.
2.) Our commission is 50% of the selling price under $4000.00, 40% of the selling price between $4001.00 and $10,000.00, and 30% of the selling price at $10,001.00 and over. Consignors are paid within 30 days after their goods are sold.
3.) In order to get the best possible price for equipment it should be in good working order and in clean condition. Before equipment is sold it is tested in our facility and cleaned and repaired if needed. Any costs associated with this will be charged against the equipment and recovered at the time of sale.
4.) All consignments are for a 90 day period. If items are not sold in that time, consignor will be contacted to discuss the disposition of the equipment. Options would include:

Donation to a worthwhile charity

Delivery back to consignor
5.) Pick-up or delivery charges for two men and a truck including all equipment needed to handle items is $95.00 per hour plus G.S.T. There is a minimum charge of two hours to cover driving time and unloading.
6.) All items placed on consignment with Valley Restaurant Supply will be made available for rent and will be posted as such. All profits from renting equipment shall be split equally with the consigner and Valley Restaurant Supply.
7.) Consignment items are received at our warehouse, inspected, labeled, photographed and displayed in our showroom as well as posted on our web-site.
8.) In the event that the consignor cancels this 90 day consignment contract before the expiry date there will be 20% service fee based on the apprased price of consigned equipment to cover costs related to storage, handling, advertising etc.
9.) All consignments are subject to a mandatory insurance charge of $15.00 or $15.00 per $1000.00 based on the estimate of appraisal.
